Process
We proclaim him,
admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present
everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all his
energy, which so powerfully works in me. Colossians 1:28-29
Thanks for your
interest in being a leader at Westwood. We like to consider ourselves a
high-expectation church, so therefore we don't take leadership lightly. It is
an awesome responsibility to shepherd God's people. You should know in
advance that our expectations for leaders are high and includes commitments
to spiritual maturity and lifestyle choices that are above those expected of
member.
The leader enlistment process includes an information form and meeting, which
gives us a chance to make sure we're all on the same page. It is also a great
opportunity to establish relationships between ministry directors and
leaders.
